Fin hardware guide
Fin hardware includes screws, keys, and small components needed to install and secure fins. Fin screws strip and get lost more often than expected — keeping spares in your board bag is good practice.
Futures hardware
Each Futures fin requires one small screw tightened with a fin key or flat-head screwdriver. Stainless screws that won't rust in salt water.
FCS and FCS II hardware
FCS II fins snap in without tools but screws are strongly recommended for performance surfing. A hex fin key is used to tighten FCS II screws. Original FCS fins require a fin key for both installation and removal.
