Surfboard storage — protect your investment
Storing surfboards properly protects the foam, the glass, and the fins from dings, pressure dents, and UV damage. Never lean boards against a wall unsecured — a board that falls in a garage or apartment can ding itself or damage whatever it falls on. A proper wall rack holds boards safely, keeps them organized, and doubles as a display for boards you're proud of.
T-Rax wall racks
T-Rax makes the most practical multi-board wall racks we carry. Available in 2, 3, 4, and 6 board configurations. The arms are padded and angle upward so boards can't slide off. Mount to studs or use wall anchors — they hold multiple boards at full weight without flex. The T-Rax Single Horizontal Longboard Rack holds one longboard in a horizontal position — good for displaying a favorite board.
Hawaiian Gun Racks
Hawaiian Gun Racks are handcrafted wooden wall mounts — Maple and Mahogany options. A premium, furniture-quality storage solution for surfers who want their boards to be part of their home's decor rather than hidden in a garage. Each rack is designed to display one board prominently.
Block Surf storage solutions
The Block Surf Freestanding Surfboard Stand holds boards upright without wall mounting — good for garages, rentals, or anyone who can't put holes in walls. The OTW Vertical Longboard Rack mounts to a wall and holds one longboard vertically — a space-efficient solution for apartments. The Block Surf Reef Rack series — Double, Triple, Quad, and 6 Pack — are heavy-duty freestanding racks for garages with multiple boards. The Ceiling Rack mounts to a ceiling joist and suspends boards horizontally — great for low-clearance garages.
Living in Sunshine Spirit Racks
The Spirit Rack in 3 and 4 board configurations — a clean, minimal wall rack design.
Storage tips
Store boards away from direct sunlight — UV degrades foam and resin over time even through glass windows. Keep fins on when storing to protect fin boxes from warping. For wetsuits stored alongside boards, use a wide wetsuit hanger — never fold.
