CJ Nelson Sprout 2.0 Thunderbolt Silver Surfboard 9'6" - Volan Colorway
The CJ Nelson Sprout 2.0 in Thunderbolt Silver construction is a refined modern noserider built for surfers who want timeless style, dedicated nose time, and clean longboard performance. At 9'6" x 23 1/2" x 3 5/16" with 76.17 liters of volume, this board offers excellent glide, smooth paddling, and the kind of stable platform that makes trimming and noseriding feel natural and controlled. Finished in the classic Volan colorway, it has a clean, traditional look backed by thoroughly modern design and construction.
The Sprout 2.0 is CJ Nelson’s updated version of one of the most respected noserider designs in modern surfing. Developed with Ryan Engle, this shape features more tail kick than earlier versions, a more pinched rail for better wave face connectivity, edge through the tail for maximum control, and a beveled Nuuhiwa-style concave that helps create lift and hold when you step forward. The result is a longboard that feels composed in the pocket, trims beautifully, and delivers confident, committed noseriding in quality waves.
Built in Thunderbolt Silver construction, the Sprout 2.0 has a lightweight, lively feel that helps the board stay responsive while still maintaining the smooth flow a dedicated noserider should have. The single fin setup keeps the ride classic and clean, making this an ideal choice for surfers looking for a benchmark performance noserider with proven pedigree and premium construction.
