CJ Nelson Sprout 2.0 Silver Technology Surfboard 9'3"
The CJ Nelson Sprout 2.0 in Silver Technology is a modern noserider built for surfers who want classic style, refined performance, and serious hold on the nose. At 9'3" x 23 1/4" x 3 1/16" with 71.5 liters of volume, this board delivers smooth glide, confident paddle power, and the kind of trim and control that make dedicated noseriding feel natural and effortless. Designed by CJ Nelson and Ryan Engle, the Sprout 2.0 represents a refined evolution of one of the most respected noserider concepts in modern longboarding.
CJ has ridden variations of the Sprout throughout his entire surfing career, and the 2.0 version pushes that design even further. This updated model features added tail kick, a more pinched rail for better wave face connectivity, edge through the tail for maximum control, and a beveled Nuuhiwa-style concave that helps lock in noseriding performance. The result is a longboard that feels composed and connected whether you are trimming high, setting up your line, or confidently walking to the nose.
The Sprout 2.0 is widely regarded as a benchmark in performance noseriding. It blends traditional longboard flow with the responsiveness needed for precise positioning and control, making it a standout choice for surfers who want a dedicated single fin log with proven design pedigree. Built in Silver Technology, this board offers a lively, durable feel that complements the shape beautifully and keeps the ride smooth, controlled, and highly functional in quality longboard waves.
