Surfboard shipping costs depend on the length, width, destination, and UPS size rules. Here's a clear breakdown:
- Boards under 5'11" and 21" wide: Standard UPS Ground, no oversize surcharge. Typical cost $65–$120 depending on destination. Exact live rates shown in cart at checkout.
- Boards over 5'11" or wider than 21": Considered oversized by UPS. Typical cost $150–$240 including oversize charges. Live pricing shown in cart before checkout.
- Boards over 8': Exceed standard UPS limits and cannot ship via regular UPS Ground. We offer free in-store pickup at Rider Shack in Los Angeles, or airport cargo pickup via freight (typically around $200). Please contact us for a personalized freight quote.
- California Coastal Delivery: We offer delivery to coastal cities from San Diego to San Francisco for a flat fee of $100. Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery.
- Free In-Store Pickup: All surfboards are available for free pickup at our Los Angeles store at 13211 W Washington Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90066.
- Free Weekly Meet-Ups: We offer free weekly meet-ups for deliveries along the coast from Ventura to Pismo Beach. Meet-up deliveries need to be coordinated with the shop in advance — please contact us to arrange.

The Red Tiger XL from Pyzel surfboards is a higher volume version of the Red Tiger for bigger surfers or someone looking to step their shortboard game up when moving down to smaller equipment. More foam, more fun! The Red Tiger a lower rocker performance shortboard with speed, power and flow excelling in small to medium sized waves. The squash tail creates lift and drive and extra push for aerial antics. A slight hip near the front fins for a pivot point creating hard arcing maneuvers. The low rocker will fly through gutless sections paired with a single to double concave bottom with vee running off the tail for rail-to-rail critical surfing.
