Lost 1996 Kingfish 6'6 Surfboard (40.25L) – Black Sheep EPS

How It Surfs

Think of the Kingfish as a performance-minded fish that’s designed to generate speed easily and stay fun in everyday conditions. The wider planing area helps it get up and going quickly, while the 6'6 length and added liters give you a confident platform for earlier entries and more glide between turns.

The FCS II tri/quad option lets you fine-tune the feel: ride it as a thruster for a more familiar, controlled approach, or switch to a quad for extra down-the-line speed and drive. Fins are not included, so you can choose your favorite template to match your style and local waves.

Why Black Sheep EPS Matters

Lost’s Black Sheep EPS construction is known for its lively, responsive feel—helpful for generating speed and keeping the board feeling energetic underfoot. EPS builds are also a popular choice for surfers looking for a board that feels quick and springy in a wide range of conditions.

Great For

  • Surfers who want an easier paddler with performance potential
  • Chest-high to overhead days where you want speed through sections
  • Everyday waves when you want a “more fun” alternative to a shortboard
  • Riders who like experimenting with thruster vs quad setups
