Good for kids and lighter adults. 7'6" — versatile, good for lighter adults who want some maneuverability. 8'0" — the sweet spot for most adult beginners. Stable enough to learn on, light enough to maneuver. 9'0" — the classic longboard length. More paddle power, more glide, better for heavier surfers or anyone who wants maximum wave count. 10'0" — maximum stability and paddle. Best for very beginners or very large surfers.
