Surf skating in Los Angeles
Surf skating was invented in Venice Beach by surfers who wanted to keep training on flat days. The right truck system replicates the lateral pump and carve of surfing on a wave — you can train cutbacks, generate speed, and build the muscle memory of surf turns on any pavement. For Los Angeles surfers, a surf skate is the most effective land training tool available.
Carver skateboards — the original surf skate

C7 trucks — the deep carve
A traditional kingpin truck on a pivoting swing arm. Two axes of motion create the smooth lateral sway of a surfboard. Best for deep carving, maximum turning radius, and replicating a longboard or single-fin feeling. Spring tension is adjustable for tighter or looser feel.
CX trucks — snappy and responsive
