Firewire Too Fish buying guide

The Too Fish is Firewire's dedicated twin-fin fish — a looser, more flowing shape than the quad-based Seaside. Where the Seaside gives you quad drive and projection, the Too Fish gives you a freer, skatier feel that rewards flowing surfing rather than aggressive turns.

Twin fin feel

The Too Fish has a wide fish outline, a swallow or fish tail, and a twin fin setup in Futures. Without a center fin the tail is free to drift, slide, and project through turns in a way that thrusters and quads don't allow. It is a completely different ride from a performance shortboard — more about feel and flow than precision and control.

Too Fish vs Seaside

Both are fish shapes but they feel very different. TheSeasideis a quad — more hold, more drive, better in hollow or faster waves. The Too Fish is a twin — looser, more flowing, better suited to mellow, small surf where you want to explore the wave rather than drive through sections.
