E7 and E6 Flash Lining neoprene
The Flash Bomb uses E7 Flash Lining neoprene on key panels — E7 is Rip Curl's most advanced neoprene, with 20% more stretch than E6, lighter weight, and improved warmth. E6 Flash Lining fills the remainder of the suit. The Flash Lining technology — exclusive to Rip Curl — enhances drying properties throughout the suit.
Seam construction and entry
The Flash Bomb uses glued and blind-stitched (GBS) seams — triple glued, double stitched seams that don't fully penetrate the neoprene. This creates a waterproof, high-stretch seam that holds up to hard use. Available in chest zip and zip-free entry. Chest zip gives you a warmer, more watertight entry. Zip-free gives you maximum stretch and performance.
Flash Bomb vs Flash Bomb Fusion
The Flash Bomb Fusion adds Fusion Dry Seam Technology — a 96% stitch-free construction using a bonding technique rather than stitching. This permanently solves the problem of seam leakage that affects all stitched wetsuits over time. The Fusion is the evolution of the Flash Bomb — available in zip-free only.

Both are premium Rip Curl performance suits. The Flash Bomb's defining feature is FlashDry — fastest-drying wetsuit available.
