Shape and performance
The Sci-Fi 2.0 is wider and flatter-rockered than a standard performance shortboard, which gives it early entry, easy speed generation, and a lot of planing surface in weak conditions. It is not a pure groveler — it has enough rocker and rail to perform well in average to overhead surf. The perfect board for inconsistent Southern California beach break where you need speed on the small days and performance when the surf picks up.
