Rip Curl wetsuits buying guide

Rip Curl was founded in 1969 in Torquay, Australia and has been building performance wetsuits ever since. Every Rip Curl wetsuit uses their proprietary E-series neoprene — lighter, warmer, and more flexible than standard neoprene. Rip Curl backs their wetsuits with a 3-year warranty on stitching and 12 months on materials when purchased from an authorised retailer like Rider Shack.

Rip Curl neoprene — E6 and E7 explained

E6 — Rip Curl's premium high-stretch performance neoprene. Lightweight and flexible with excellent thermal properties.

E7 — E6 with an additional 20% more stretch, lighter weight, and improved warmth. The most advanced neoprene in the Rip Curl lineup. Used in the Flash Bomb, Fusion, and E-Bomb.

Flash Lining — exclusive to Rip Curl. A lining technology that dramatically improves drying speed. Used in the Flash Bomb range to achieve dry time of 30 minutes or less.
